Yeah it’s September and that means another round of “Life in Motion”.  Last month was so fun and I hope you all followed the blog circle around to watch some really beautiful films.  This month has been pretty crazy getting the kids back to school and settled into new routines but I found a little time to work on a film for this month’s contribution…

A few weeks ago I spent the morning with a super sweet family.  Mom had originally contacted me for some portraits of her daughter.  When I found out she wanted her daughter to wear a special dress,  I was intrigued.  In talking further, I found out that mom had a portrait painted of herself wearing the dress when she was the same age as her daughter.  Talk about excited!  Here I was in the midst of a very special tradition and I immediately knew a few “portraits” was just not enough.  So I spent the morning with sweet Eleanor and her family to capture this very special tradition.  Here is the film I created for her,  I hope one day she’ll watch this film and smile while she passes down the tradition.

Don’t forget to follow the circle  to see some incredible films! First up, check out this sweet film by  Elizabeth of Copper Penny Films.
